Choosing who supplies the energy that we deliver to you gives you an important opportunity to take better control over your energy costs. Choosing an energy supplier is easy and does not have to take a lot of time or be complicated.
National Grid's Basic service rates
For comparison to the competitive supply rates, below we have provided National Grid's current Basic service rates.
Basic Service is provided to customers who have either not chosen to receive their energy supply from an alternative energy supplier or returned to us to supply their energy service. This is the part of your energy bill in which you can choose an alternate supplier.
In accordance with the terms of the Tariff for Basic service, the rates for Basic service for customers receiving such services from the company are as follows. All rates will be applied as a uniform ¢ per kWh charge, for usage on and after the first day of each calendar month.
