Commercial Direct Install Program

We are pleased to announce the NEW Direct Install Commercial Program for NYC customers.
National Grid’s Direct Install Program offers commercial customers no-cost installation of high-efficiency water and energy saving measures. The no-cost water-saving efficiency upgrades installed under this Program are certified by the WaterSense program of the US Environmental Protection Agency and use at least 30% less water than standard fixtures (valued at $250 to $5,000).
When commercial businesses participate in this Program, they may be eligible to receive the following benefits at no additional cost:
• High-efficiency showerhead—1.5 gpm*
• High-efficiency kitchen faucet aerator—1.5 gpm*
• High-efficiency bathroom faucet aerator—1.0 gpm*
• High-efficiency spray valve—1.15 gpm*
  *Gallons per minute
This program can be especially helpful in meeting the water-savings goals of the hotel, restaurant, healthcare facilities, and fitness industries. By participating, customers are not only saving energy, they are also helping preserve our precious water resources.

Who is installing the water-saving upgrades?
RISE Engineering is an experienced energy efficiency service provider and the implementation vendor for our program. Rise offers you the assurance of trusted installation and the convenience of comprehensive service. They will oversee installation of the no-cost water conservation measures specified here by their subcontractors.
Who is eligible for the no-cost upgrades?
Customer must have a centralized heating system on a firm gas heating rate code.
Who can a customer participate?
To participate a customer must email completed Direct Install Application to or fax to (401) 784-3710 or mail to 1341 Elmwood Avenue Cranston, RI 02910. Once the completed application has been received a RISE representative will contact you to schedule an appointment to install free water-saving upgrades.
